Skyted 320 just got smarter with firmware 2.4

Firmware 2.4 for the Skyted 320 is now live, and it's the most useful update we've shipped since launch. It brings an on-device AI denoiser, faster Bluetooth pairing, and a fix for a small daily friction nobody complained about loudly but everyone noticed.
Few minutes to install. Audible on your next call.
β
How does the AI denoiser change a real call?
The Skyted 320 already reduces how much your voice spreads into the surrounding environment. Firmware 2.4 improves the other side of the conversation: what the person listening to you actually hears.
The new AI-powered denoiser now runs directly inside the headset.
No cloud processing. No server round-trip.
If you're taking a Teams call from a train, joining Zoom from an airport gate, or speaking from a noisy coworking space, the headset now filters surrounding sounds much more aggressively before your voice reaches the other person.
Train announcements. Air ventilation. Nearby conversations.
Still there around you. Far less present during the call.
What matters here is not perfect silence. Real environments are never perfectly silent. What matters is reducing the constant background noise that makes remote conversations tiring and unclear.
Because the denoiser runs on-device, there is also no additional cloud latency introduced into the conversation. The experience stays natural while the call becomes significantly cleaner.
The AI denoiser is enabled by default with firmware 2.4.

Why does Bluetooth feel smoother now?
The original pairing experience worked, but it still asked users to think about Bluetooth more often than they should have needed to.
On Android especially, pairing previously required two separate steps: one connection through the phone Bluetooth settings, and another inside the Skyted app itself.
With firmware 2.4, that extra step disappears.
You now connect the headset once through your Android Bluetooth settings, and the Skyted app automatically detects it. Less setup. Less confusion. Faster connection.
The bigger improvement happens afterward.
Automatic reconnection is now significantly smoother on both Android and iOS. Turn the headset off at the end of the day, power it back on the next morning, reopen the app, and the connection restores automatically in the background.
That changes daily usage more than people expect.
The headset now behaves much more like modern wireless devices people expect to simply reconnect without manual intervention every time they restart the app or the headset.
β
Why did we add headset renaming?
Because shared work environments create surprisingly messy Bluetooth menus.
We kept seeing the same situation internally during meetings, demos, and coworking sessions: multiple βSkyted 320β devices appearing on the same screen while everyone tried to figure out which headset belonged to whom.
Firmware 2.4 now lets you rename your headset directly from the Skyted app.
Simple feature. Real annoyance removed.
The custom name remains visible in your Bluetooth settings, making reconnection and device switching much easier when several Skyted headsets are nearby.
β
How do you install firmware 2.4?
The update takes only a few minutes.
Start by updating the Skyted app through the App Store or Google Play. Then pair your Skyted 320 with your phone and open the app to launch the firmware update.
The app guides you through the rest.
Keep the headset near the phone and maintain an internet connection during the process. If the update gets interrupted because the connection drops or the headset moves too far away, the 320 safely returns to its previous state and you can simply restart the update.
No reset required.
β
Where is Skyted heading next?
Firmware 2.4 is not about adding features just to extend a changelog.
It reflects something we think matters more: reducing the friction between people and voice communication in the environments where they actually work today.
Trains. Airports. Open offices. Shared spaces.
Places where many people stopped using their voice because speaking simply became too disruptive for everyone around them.
Firmware 2.4 makes the Skyted 320 cleaner, faster, and more natural to use in those situations. That is the direction we are continuing to push.
Update the Skyted app on iOS or Android, connect your Skyted 320, and install firmware 2.4 directly from the app today.
