2022
Skyted was born, when Stéphane Hersen and Frank Simon finally met. Frank Simon is a well known researcher in acoustics from the ONERA ( French tech lab ), who created a Jet Engine sound absorber called LEONAR. Together they integrated the Jet Engine sound absorber inside a mask.
Backed by Airbus Développement, Onera and ESA (European Space Agency).

2023
CES, Vivatech, press coverage 300+ articles. 4 people. Concept phase
2024
At CES 2024, Skyted showcased its Mask prototype, generating coverage in over 700 articles, TV segments, and online media.
During this phase, the team transitioned from the Mask to the headset design and officially launched R&D activities.
With a lean team of eight people, Skyted also established strategic partnerships with Orange and Groupama, and signed a partnership agreement with Capgemini Engineering.
2025
By CES 2025, Skyted unveiled the Headset 320, attracting attention from more than 100 media outlets.
The company began industrializing the product, with the first preorders going live on the website and the first batch scheduled for delivery in summer 2025. Skyted participated in major events such as MWC and Vivatech, receiving press coverage from France 2 and Amixem, and secured B2B orders from major banks, insurance companies, and industrial clients.
By this stage, the team had grown to 15 people, marking a significant milestone in the company’s growth and market presence.
